As your designers, planners, builders, and project managers, we bring years of hands-on experience to every phase of your project. We have walked through countless homes, learning what makes a space truly function and where thoughtful changes could have made it exceptional. That perspective allows us to seamlessly integrate the best ideas to create a plan tailored to you.
Because we intentionally limit the number of projects we take on each year, you will work directly with us from the first conversation through the final walk-through. No handoffs. No templates. Just a carefully crafted process designed around your home and your life.
Nathan McCracken

I’ve always been a detail-minded person, drawn to the challenge of thinking through complex projects and breaking them into clear, manageable steps. From drawing plans and creating design renderings to writing scopes of work and project timelines, I find satisfaction in bringing order to each remodeling project.
Equally important to me is the building itself. I’ve studied and practiced proficient construction methods and take pride in well-crafted results. As both contractor and lead builder, I oversee every project from start to finish. I believe in efficient timelines, a respectful, clean, and safe work environment, and open communication so you can be at ease throughout the remodeling process.
Outside of work, I’m low-key by nature. You’ll often find me listening to podcasts, working through a New York Times puzzle with a glass of iced tea, or spending time with my wife and our four children. Together, we enjoy basketball, pickleball, and biking whenever we can.
Shandra McCracken

My understanding of homes began early, walking job sites, studying plans at the kitchen table, and seeing firsthand how framing, mechanical systems, and finishes come together. That foundation continues to shape my approach today. I’ve consistently been drawn to timeless craftsmanship and natural materials, especially wood and natural stone layered with tile and hardware in low-contrast palettes inspired by both the mountains and the coast. To me, a beautiful home is one where function and design are thoughtfully paired, creating spaces that not only look refined but truly serve the way your family lives.
Remodeling brings countless decisions, and part of my role is to guide clients through them with clarity and reassurance, ensuring each choice supports both the home’s function and feel. A well-designed home should feel inviting and comfortable, a place where life is well lived and beauty endures year after year, untouched by passing trends.
On most days, you’ll find me at my computer with a dark cappuccino nearby, upbeat music playing, and multiple screens and tabs open. Conversation shapes much of my day, whether I’m talking through cabinets and tile with clients, texting with friends and family, or writing for our emails and blog.
Outside of work, I love fresh snow, dark chocolate, coconut, long walks and bike rides, watching birds, and sharing a favorite reel that made me laugh. Midwestern by upbringing and coastal at heart, I now make my home in the mountains of Idaho with Nathan and our children, who are the greatest joys of my life.
